About Halasana

Halasana follows Shoulder Stand, stretching entire posterior chain and drawing senses inward.

How to Perform Halasana

  1. From Shoulder Stand, exhale, hinge from hips lowering straight legs overhead to floor.
  2. Touch toes to floor behind head (or onto a block/chair).
  3. Keep hands on back or interlace fingers on mat.
  4. Hold for 5-8 breaths, then roll down slowly.
