How to Perform Vrikshasana

  1. Begin in Tadasana with feet grounded.
  2. Shift weight onto left foot; place right foot on inner left thigh or calf.
  3. Press foot and inner thigh firmly into one another.
  4. Bring hands to prayer at heart center or overhead.
  5. Gaze at an unmoving point (Drishti) for 5-8 breaths, then switch.
